About AgentCut
AgentCut tracks the tools that let AI agents like Claude, Codex and Cursor work inside video and motion software. It's run by one independent developer and is not affiliated with Adobe, Blackmagic Design, Apple, ByteDance or any listed project
What you'll find here
62 tools across 10 app categories, last checked 2026-10-17. Each one has setup steps, supported versions, the edition it needs where that matters (Resolve Free vs Studio), and safety notes about what it can change in your project or on your computer
How we check listings
- Every entry links to its source, either a GitHub repository or the official product page
- Stars, last updated date, license and archive status come from the GitHub API and are refreshed by a script
- What it does, supported versions and safety notes are summarized from the project's own README. If the README doesn't say, we write unknown
- Every entry shows the date it was last checked
- We skip obvious copycat repos, for example several zero star clones of a popular Final Cut Pro server
- Setup difficulty is our judgment. Easy means one install command and no panel to load. Medium means an in app panel, plugin or Python environment. Hard means building from source or several moving parts
How the site was built
The site and its data pipeline were built with an AI coding agent. Every fact on a tool page comes from that tool's repository, README or official page, not from the model
Money
AgentCut may earn from clearly labeled sponsor slots and partner links. Listings are free and rankings aren't for sale
